Jack Skellington
Name: Jack Skellington Alias: The Pumpkin King! Age: Deceased. Gender: Male. Interests: Halloween, Christmas, Science Relationships Zero: Jack's dog, who is indeed a ghost. Zero has a small pumpkin for a nose, that is capable of glowing orange. Zero is also fond of playing catch with one of Jack's ribs, and faithfully follows him everywhere. Jack found him when wandering through the maze.
And since I am dead,
Energetic, charismatic, and theatric are only a few words to describe Jack Skellington. Despite being rather dead, Jack can be the life of the party anywhere. He is an amazing orator and entertainer, and is far from boring. His speeches border on mesmerizing and his grand sense of humor makes for a number of pranks. It doesn't hurt that he's very optimistic and determined, looking at everything in the light of "Where there's a will, there's a way." Once he gets his mind set on something, there is little than can deter him from his goal. He has a very positive outlook on life (and the afterlife), and believes that with enough willpower anything can be done. It's also hard to set him off. Jack has a great sense of humor, and more than likely his naive nature will have him take anything in good fun. Jack is also very clever and creative, and thinks of himself as a scientist. Many things fascinate him, and he'll always set out to learn more about them. Though dabbling in the unknown can sometimes prove disasterous, Jack doesn't let that stop him. The world is a fascinating place, and there's just so much to learn! Even though sometimes he may not fully understand something, he makes up for it by use of his own clever twists and interpretations. His unique speech pattern is the most noticable show of his, and it makes it quite clear that Jack sees everything with a different view. Missle-Toes and Moo-Gulls make sense to him, and that's all that really matters. His creativity on the other hand goes well with that entertaining, theatrical persona of his I mentioned before. Being the pumpkin king, he's always having to think of new ideas for Halloween, and his vivid imagination helps him to accomplish that. Many of the strengths I mentioned before also contribute to the fact that Jack is a natural-born (or dead?) leader. Being such an energetic force, he draws and commands attention no matter where he goes. His clever and creative mind always has an idea or plan in store, and using those amazing public speaking skills and utter confidence, he can orchestrate almost any task. He's also utterly confident, knowing his trade inside and out. He rarely stumbles over himself when it comes to certain things, and this helps him to accomplish tasks he has set. Though creative and bright, sometimes Jack gets too caught up in his own vivid imagination. He has a tendency to enter his own little world and forget about the real one around him, which can make for some interesting disasters when the two collide. His over-active imagination and raw willpower will sometimes enable him to take things too far, and though he means well, not all ends well. That being said, sometimes he tends to overdo his pranks. To Jack, startling or frightening someone is a general term or gesture of endearment, though for us outside of his world we can hardly see how. This is just another example of where he needs to learn to draw the line. Also, he can sometimes tend to doubt himself and take what he has for granted when he sets his sights on something higher. Really, Jack can tend to be naive on the way things work around him. Sometimes you really need to learn to appreciate what you have around you, and through a set of high-strung obstacles Jack will eventually come to learn this moral. Because of his postive, optimistic view on life, he can also be easily manipulated. For someone who knows horror inside and out, Jack really searches hard to see the good in everything and everyone, thus making him easy to trick. Always willing to lend a bony, helping hand, he also needs to learn better judgement it would seem.
I can take off my head,
Strengths: Namely, Jack is a good leader. This is known from the way he handles his title of the Pumpkin King. He's charismatic, energetic, and has a great sense of humor. It's hard to throw Jack Skellington off tempo, that's for sure. He's got a mind of his own and is very creative. One of the most shocking strengths of his is, despite being the Master of Terror, he has a big heart. He's extremely loyal to his friends, and will do anything to help them out. Weaknesses: His creativity and over-active imagination can sometimes get the best of him. Sometimes, he'll take on ideas that are too big, and his determination and will power won't let him veer off-course. He's not the best judge of character and tries to see the good in everyone (really, he lives among monsters, people can't be that bad).

Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King of Halloweentown, makes his first stunning appearance during the planning for this years Halloween performance. When Sora and the gang show up in Halloweentown, Jack is in the process of creating his own Heartless that will dance for him at the performance. When Dr. Finkelstein tries to figure out what is going wrong in the experiment, Jack chirps in that Heartless needs hearts. So, he invites Sora and company along for the scavenger hunt where they search for the ingredients needed to make a heart. After fighting off a group of Heartless and recieving one of the 'ingredients', Lock, Shock and Barrel show up and have trouble brewing. They promptly return to Oogie Boogie with the news of Jack's attempts, who in turn becomes very interested in thwarting Jack's plans. After gathering all the ingredients and compiling them together to make the heart, it is then stolen by the troublesome trio. Jack, with the help of Sora, Goofy and Donald, tracks down Oogie Boogie and finally recovers the heart. The next time we see Jack, it appears as though he has become fixated on Christmas. Arriving with the usual glamor into the scene (this time atop a sleigh), he teams up with Sora, Goofy and Donald once more to thwart Maleficents attempts. This time, she has employed the help of Lock, Shock and Barrel to help revive Oogie Boogie. Though she is successful, it isn't long before they defeat him once more. However, the trouble doesn't end there as later on it appears as though someone has stolen presents straight from Santa's Workshop! Naturally, everyone pointed a finger at Jack but after putting some thought into it, he came through with a clever trap. By using decoy presents, they managed to lure in the culprit, and were shocked to find that it was the experiment of Dr. Finkelstein. After defeating the experiment (who was apparently only looking for a heart), it appeared as though all was well in the world of Halloweentown (well, unless you count Jack trying to take over Christmas!) |
